    Call to Action Statement for ILA Healthcare Leadership Conference will occur virtually, live online 2-3 May 2022.


    The 2022, ILA Healthcare Leadership Conference will occur virtually, live online 2-3 May 2022. The conference theme is "Strengthening Ties Between Healthcare and Leadership: Experiences, Effects, and Resilience." In light of challenges during the COVID pandemic, the conference will address experiences, effects, and resilience relevant to healthcare leadership. The conference will bring together both healthcare and leadership experts covering foundational and cutting-edge topics that are relevant for healthcare professionals (practitioners, educators, and scholars) to optimize leader development, leadership education, research, practice, and networking. Each day of the conference will begin with a plenary followed by panel discussions and interactive sessions.  


    Being an effective healthcare professional requires leadership knowledge and application, expertise, and collaboration. The conference will therefore include breakout sessions addressing: 

    • Individual Growth: Experiences, Effects, and Resilience
    • Team Growth: Experiences, Effects, and Resilience
    • Leadership Education and Development
    • Organizational Leadership in Healthcare

    The conference's online virtual platform will allow for a rich interactive experience including making connections with colleagues and active attendee participation. Furthermore, the conference will include a poster session to which individuals are invited to submit proposal abstracts by March 05, 2022. 


    The ILA's Healthcare Leadership Conference is ideal for established and emerging healthcare professions, which includes ILA members, non-members, students, patients, practitioners, educators, and those with a passion for improving healthcare systems. As a participant, you will become better equipped to improve yourself and the systems and organizations in which you work by utilizing a leadership lens relevant to healthcare.
