Mandela Washington Fellows Share Experiences of #ILA2020Global

The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders sponsored 25 Alumni to attend ILA’s first virtual global conference last year as a professional development experience. Four Alumni share their notable takeaways, networking experiences, and the ways in which they planned to implement new ideas gleaned from the conference within their communities.

While COVID-19 may have precipitated this new communication channel for her team, it's benefits at relieving communication apprehension and creating more opportunities for adaptability and collaboration have led her to continue the project.
