ILA’s 20th anniversary global conference in West Palm Beach, Florida is approaching. Do you have a place to stay? Would you like to win two free nights of your stay in West Palm Beach? The ILA has special rates with five hotels to make your conference experience the best it can be at the best price possible. In addition, book at one of the following hotels (with the exception of the Brazilian) and you’ll be automatically entered into a drawing for two complimentary nights* to be applied to your stay — courtesy of ILA!

Pool at HiltonDo you want to stay as close as possible to the Palm Beach County Convention Center (PBCCC), the location for all conference sessions, plenaries, and exhibitors? The Hilton West Palm Beach, connected to PBCCC, is the closest hotel. Book by the 24th of September to receive the ILA special rate. The second closest hotel is West Palm Beach Marriot. If you stay here, set aside about nine minutes to get to the conference by foot, or hop on one of the electric carts ILA will have circulating between the Marriott and PBCCC. Book this hotel by the 3rd of October to receive the special ILA rate.

If you are interested in accommodations that include breakfast, consider the Hyatt Place West Palm Beach or the Residence Inn by Marriot West Palm Beach. Be sure to reserve your room for Hyatt Place no later than the 24th of September and for the Residence Inn no later than the 18th of October.

Photo of Hyatt Place in West Palm BeachBoth hotels are an 11-minute walk, however there is a complimentary hotel shuttle at Hyatt Place available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Blue Line of the complimentary city-wide trolley system also passes right by the Residence Inn, Hyatt Place, and PBCCC. Please note, however, this trolley only runs Thursday-Saturday. Also, while the ride from PBCCC to your hotel will be brief, the ride from the hotel to the convention center requires a transfer (from a northbound to a southbound trolley) or be prepared for a complete 35-minute tour of the town.

While not part of the giveaway for two free nights, the Brazilian Court Hotel is a five-star jewel over on the island. A scenic 30-minute walk over the Royal Park Bridge gets you to the convention center.  To book with the ILA special rate, reserve your room by the 24th of September.

A community starts with connections. While you will have many moments to connect and network throughout the conference, there’s a certain feeling of “home” that arises when one walks through a lobby or rides an elevator with other people sporting an ILA conference name badge. A stranger becomes a potential colleague — someone to perhaps walk to dinner with or meet for a morning jog.  We encourage you to maximize your ILA experience by staying at one of the five designated conference hotels! And remember, if you book before the deadlines mentioned above (excluding the Brazilian), and you’re the lucky winner – two nights of your stay will be on us!

Are you interested in leading a morning jog or walk from an ILA conference hotel? How about a yoga session? If you feel inspired to do so, please reach out to us at conferences@ila-net.org!

 * Please Note: To qualify for the drawing, reservations must be made within the ILA room block at either the Hilton West Palm Beach, West Palm Beach Marriot, Hyatt Place West Palm Beach, or Residence Inn by Marriot West Palm Beach and guest must check-in to the hotel. The winner will be announced at the conference. The two complimentary nights will be applied to the existing reservation and will not include any extra amenities outside of the room charge.
