Despite the fact that nearly half of U.S. Fortune 500 companies were founded by immigrants or their children, immigrant leaders are rarely, if ever, mentioned in the leadership literature. In this article, Marco Aponte-Moreno explores immigration experiences of prominent immigrant leaders and looks at how they use the immigrant experience in their narratives as global leadership. International Student Case Competition
Each year at ILA’s annual global conference, teams of students compete in two divisions (undergraduate and graduate) to see who will win the ILA International Student Case Competition. The prize? $1,000 cash to each winning team and free ILA membership. Meet the winning team from each division and watch a short video with advice from the grad team for future competitors.
