Ed Finn

Bio

Ed has over 15 years of higher education experience in academic technologies, teaching, and assessment. Previously Ed worked with the Lake Forest Library as their Director of Operations and as the Liaison for Technology in Teaching and Learning at the Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM). In his role at ACM, he facilitated conversations with faculty, staff, and administration on best practices around technology in teaching and learning, as well as administering grant funds provided by the Andrew Mellon Foundation.

Ed’s research interests focus on faculty perceptions of learning technologies, specifically Learning Management Systems (LMS). His dissertation focused on faculty perceptions of leaders during an LMS transition. Ed is currently working with faculty, staff and the Provost’s office to identify new technologies that enhance teaching and learning.
